berlin was a lot of fun but being here on the countryside is also great. its so quiet that you can hear the bees chitchatting about global warming.

pretty unsharp but it has a point

so i made this the other day, managed to tone the blueprint a bit by giving him a bath in coffee and some acid. it was a very nice process. the coffee was undrinkable btw. Instant coffee is best for these sort of print processes i think. You can also use Tea leaves if you wanna go organic or dont drink coffee.

scrmn reporting from TOP Safe Hotel in Dortmund. I got to check out of my hotel in a bit. I think its funny on my reservation it says “top safe hotel”. Wonder if the receptionist is trained in kung fu and stuff.

Yesterday was the opening at Heimat Design Gallery. I had great fun! Everyone here in Dortmund are very nice and I made new friends.

thanks to all the people at Heimat Design and to Eva and Saba for hanging up my stuff and giving me a ride a over here to Dortmund.

I also saw a cardboard installatin by Clemens Behr that i really liked. It was a bit like being drunk, but maybe i was a bit drunk at that time. but quite inspiring stuff.

some views from yesterday

so im leaving dortmund today in favor of Berlin

gonna meet half star athlete there, gonna be good cause i havent seen him in a while. And I will be staying at my old friend who i lived with in seville. he now resides in berlin as a brain doctor.

unfourtenately i wont get the action of die autobahn to berlin, i will go by train. then i also get a chance to draw a bit if the train is not to shaky.

below some blueprints of two sheets of secret science.

some tanks came rolling by today.

now im making dinner. what will it be!

some tanks are bigger than others.

tomorrow im going back to Dortmund and then up to Berlin with the ICE train. I have booked a window seat, nr. 82 with table. It was only 2 euros extra, then i got a table. It takes 3,5 hours with the train from dortmund to berlin. So i can draw, maybe 120 tanks on the way. Thats not so many, but i also need to look out the window and show my ticket.

this is the scrmn schedule for august- Amsterdam to Dortmund. Dortmund to Berlin. Berlin to Copenhagen. Copenhagen to Amsterdam. Stay in amsterdam eat some paint and draw on the science project.

so im back from the concrete playground festival. Or yesterday night, but i was very tired, so me and trbl ordered some chicken tikka balti. I always think that chicken tikka balti sounds like a superhero chicken. Like you can imagine a old fox telling a story “but this chicken was no normal chicken….he was a chicken Tikka Balti”. ooooooaaahhh…said all the small foxes.

anyway, trbl took some pictures of all of the action. It was great fun to be there and the germans were very friendly.

On Wednesday Im heading back to Dortmund for the opening at Heimat Design Gallery.

after a few days at a festival its great to be home at my desk, gonna do some drawings and check out some science and conspiracy podcasts.

Oh, and maybe i should add that the dude in the 80s swimpants is not noelson. He wasnt there. Its much more fun to do these live paintings with noelson i think. So next time, it will be a scrmn vs noelson effort.

managed to get this dude inverted for future cyanotype printing. it will invert back to being blue where its white. Thats the thing.

the original is with me at the moment in germany, where i am still.

and its pink and it can keep you awake all night.

im still in germany, blogging from outer space.

today i used two liters of coffee to wash paper in. Sounds weird, it was only weird when i found out that you can enhance the power of the coffee color by adding balsamico to it.

You can also boil paper in red the skin of red onions. that trick i learned from my mom when i was a kid. every easter we would puncture eggs, like a whole in each end, then you blow air in to them until the all the inside of the egg is out. then we would boil the shells in a pan with red onions and then you would get these reddish eggs. so im applying that to my paper.

so this is robot scrmn posting from Dortmund. Im currently at the juicy festival where i have a little area that i will scrmnize over the weekend with drawings and stuff.

one of the things i brought with me to Germany is this blue alien bird. Its a lmt edition print that i made, 10 of. So one bird went to denmark and another one now to germany,
