so i took a fast pic with my camera this morning where the light was better. its number two in the first big ass painting series a la scrmn and noelson.

its a bit hard to photograph cause the i cant get far away from the canvas. i mean, i love the studio, but its not the biggest one on the planet.

but as noelson says, big is big and small is small and big things come in, small packages. and now im late for stutter practice

im workin away in my studio/sauna. The evening sun is stinkin this place up. paint dries fast which is good when you are busy. im cooling of with a cold perlenbacher. straight out the hood.

this is one is capturing its fair share of my life at the moment.
ok, soon off to see the derby.

tomorrow more studio time with the other two stooges.
and yes. more time in the sweatshop.

so the exhibition me and noelson are working on is coming up. the 23rd.

its a pretty big gallery space so im pretty exciting about getting some bigger works in there. paintings and all sorts of fun stuff will be there. also some drawings, and some prints. there will be some t-shirts as well.

i think what we are mainly doing this time is about mortality and worship. but it might be about something else too.

I made this suitcase xmas eve 2008. I havent really used it yet. its ideal to smuggle stuff with, or to have laying around. Its empty so you can fill it up with stuff. im pretty big on suitcases and boxes. cause its easy to clean up at home without having to face the hard choice of throwing something away. Stuff in a scrmn’s bones suitcase.

so sister number 4/5. one more comin up the series of all 5 is complete. Yesterday me and noelson were workin all night preppin the two expos. they are takin shape. they will both be big installationsof drawings.  and by far the biggest ones we have ever made. our printer is glowin hot after spitting out drawings, plastic etc. the smell of ink.

Yesterday was also great because the sweet people at myspace UK featured my myspace on the frontpage. I got a lot of new internet friends and a lot of them are fellow artists so thats a lot of fun!

today i went to the market and i found 4 porcelains dolls and 4 wheels that i after having dragged around my giant bass amp for 4 years to all the shows, will put on the bass amp so we can wheel it. I had to do this, cause after saturdays show me and noelson was carrying the amp up to the 5th floor and noelson swore he would never help me carry the amp again if i didnt put wheels on it. and because its too heavy, i cant carry it myself and we are only a three-piece band. my amp from 1983 will now be mobile. Trbl bought an old typewriter. and i had a pastrami bagel for the first time in 5 years.

im workin towards these kinda flower-bacteria-thorn like creature, this is just a little sketch. i named them flowers to a concubine sketches, reckon its gonna be a like a series of sketches and drawings.

sunday might be a day where a lot of people eat ducks. here is a collage i made with a lot of ducklings on there and a zombie. Ducks are birds, so this fitted the birds and zombie theme i thought.

some zombie sisters here. Of another bird related collage that i am workin on. I think i will have them done in the weekend but it all depends if i find away to make finish them. clearly. but, at the moment i am mainly fan of birds and zombies. Im thinkin soon to pick up canvas and oilpaint again. its been a long time since i last time struggled makin paintings, about a year now. since then its only been drawins and collages and shirts and porcelain. which is nice. but nothin beats the real smell of oilpaint.

also. i have noticed its starting to get real cold and all the bears are hibernating. in a way its a waste of time to hibernate but it does sound appealing to lay dead over winter. but its not for me, only for bears. did you know that a lot of bears never wake up from hibernation? basically they fall asleep and then they are so sleepy when they wake up that they cant find water and food and then they die. which is basically why any hibernating bear should have a coffee when wakin up. its simply a matter of life or death. so, its too dangerous and a waste of time to hibernate so I will just buy a bottle of skotch and a winterhat and keep warm with trbl. and eat loads of bacon.
