a little picture of some work in progress.

today we are practicing with the stutters, there is soon going to be news about our new ep but for the well aware stutter follower they know its already on itunes.

nothing else is new. I went to buy contact lenses, its really one of my least favorite things to do. I have to though, if i dont go and buy them, its either blindness or my glasses that makes me look weird.

it takes aprox 20 minutes to buy a box of contact lenses. (its a fact, based on average time i spend there) They have to type in your name and print out 4 different reciets. I dont know, it seems very kafkask. Then of course, a dutch person cant spell so good when it comes to danish words and when you say E they type I. Maybe its just opticians but there seem to be some alphabetical confusion between me and pearle optics.

ok, enough of that nonsense.

some buisness tbc’ing,

its a nice late summer day. I fixed my bike twice today. first the wheels was so crooked that if i was driving without hands i would drive in circles. second thing was the chain which was more rusty that the nails in van goghs coffin.

anyway, im working on two things – a big science drawing, the biggest one so far, its almost done.

and im working on some paintings. after some therapy by noelson feat. 30 lessons on doodles and maybe one on trombly i think i can start painting again. my first ventures with art was painting, but then i got annoyed with it, then i started drawing, now im trying to make paintings, but they turn into drawings just bigger versions. But i think now i got my brain working paint again. its just a different monster that drawing, painting that is. so you need other weapons, other strategies.

anyway, i like being in my studio these early autumn kinda days.

More maps on space and science.

I spend most my weekend drawing, friday night i saw a lot of booze which mad my hand a bit shaky in the early hours of saturday. Me and noelson prepped some canvas.
even a bit more shaky saturday as a giant canvas roll fell and hit me on the head. These rolls are quite heavy actually, maybe like 40-50 kilos, 2,10 meter times 10 meter, its a lot of fabric. anyway, part from a slight dizzyness trough friday i decided i was fine.

Anyway, enough about concussions and hangover, here’s the newest pen drawing of some factory producing some stuff, and sending it from one capsule to another

now my eggs has arrived, together with my cappuchino, not having internet is costing me a fortune

So another little flickr slideshow series.

this one is just some pictures of work, some done some in progress also some of my studio.

Its really pissing down with rain today. But i made it out to fix my flat tire on my bike so its ready for the weekend. I had to cancel my lunch with scott cause of the bike and weather. Sometimes i wish the weather was more spanish. The apartment is full of water on the floor which is very stressful. So i hope the rain will stop soon.

trbl has taken a lot of these fotos btw, she soon has her own photowebsite mainly with graves and factories but its awsome! trbl trbl trbl :)

okidoki! dont get soaked out there, wear a umbrella on your head or stay inside. Like me.

scrmn is online, on the internet from coffeeplace in Amsterdam….

tomorrow is big cleaning day in my studio. Its basically has to be done every two months when the floor is no longer visible and the beercans start to rust.

it is soon to become autumn which basically means, that I will soon hibernate and ignore the world outside my studio until April next year. I think hibernation starts end of September. But i have to check my calender.

More news on Scrmn and Noelson megapainting coming soon

so i realized i never really posted the finished mural i did at the festival in Dortmund.

a young dude, a graffiti painter came over and said, “Fuck you” its stupid and its not even graffiti”. I tried to talk with him about the origin of graffiti. but he said “paint on trains, paint on trains” Like a retard he was trying to convince me that what I was doing was very wrong. Like I was breaking the code of cool graffiti taggers who write “kronk” and “shabam” over and over again, always the same haha. Its art made by retards, for the joy of other retards. I thought it was a really funny moment in time when I stood there busy painting tanks and some alien obduction…and this dude! he wants me to paint it on a train for it to make sense to him. I just happen to like to paint ufo’s and tanks and machines and oil stuff at the moment. i leave the taggers to do their job, which is very uninspiring, and in a way, really depressing.

i dedicate this mural to that guy and some other guy

so im still doing scrmn’s science project. its getting bigger and bigger and I think I might have a pretty big collection on the way of these science maps.

gonna start making them into print. again its all done with my favorite staedler 0.05 pen. inverted.

Ive been to festivals over the weekend. I dont feel so good about big amount of people eating snack food laying on the ground. so, and i got a blister on my foot from walking so much. So my festival season, i think its over.

this weekend me and mical noelson are gonna start working again on the six big paintings we are doing. three is done. all measuring 2 times 2.80 meter. its great fun,

im in germany at the moment….again!

So i just finished my first drawing since I came back from Amsterdam. I think im gonna draw another one of these future oil machines.

im still using my 0.05 staedler normal black pen. but im starting to think about using some normal pencils. i might get some shading going, like real drawing. HA!

but, here it is, inverted, ready to get printed a day when the sun shines.

I ran out of internet at home. Which causes some logistic problems. For example, I cant stay inside the apartment for two days in a row. Cause i need to get out and do internet stuff. I cant figure out if its a pain in the ass not to have internet, or if it actually is healthy for me.

I guess my experiment will last the next week or something.

My sister is going to Uganda next week. Im excited what she will see of things there. She’s a nurse and will be working outside Kampala. Im pretty proud of her helping people. So if you see a tall danish girl in Uganda there should be a good chance that its scrmn’s sister.

ok, thats all the updates i can fit into my 30 min internet time that comes with my capuchino.

Hi

So Im still in Denmark. I should have been home already holding brush and canvas but I did a so-called “oso” and messed up the bookings. I did manage to sort out trbl’s bookings but its not so fun to be delayed in such a confused way.

But all is well anyway and im looking forward to get back to the fort and draw and stuff.

I have some work featured in Justin Blyths “Them Thangs Magazine”. Its a blog turned magazine. More about it here: www.them-thangs.com
Justin send me a snap of the front and a little glimpse of a scrmn skull and a zombie lady. I cant take credit from the blindfolded mask. You can head to Justins website to get a copy of a the magazine, its lmt edition and can be folded out to a poster. It pretty cool, lots of weird photos and stuff.
